Therapeutic Modalities

My work brings together talk therapy, body awareness, and compassionate exploration of your inner experience. Together, we choose approaches that fit your needs, goals, and pace.

Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy in Colorado

A supported space for exploration and meaning

Psilocybin experiences can bring changes in perception, emotion, and sense of connection. My approach makes room for the emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of these experiences without imposing an interpretation or expecting a particular outcome.

As a Colorado Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator, I offer trauma-informed psilocybin services within Colorado’s regulated natural medicine framework. This work includes preparation, supported administration, and integration, with attention to screening, informed consent, and individual needs. Colorado licenses facilitators and clinical facilitators to provide natural medicine services. (dpo.colorado.gov)

Together, we explore your intentions and consider how insights from the experience might translate into everyday life. Experiences vary, and meaningful change is neither immediate nor guaranteed.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in NY

Medication-supported care with a therapeutic foundation

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines prescribed ketamine with preparation, therapeutic support, and integration. Medical evaluation and prescribing are provided by a qualified medical professional.

My role is to help you prepare for the experience, explore what arises, and connect it with your therapeutic goals. We approach this work thoughtfully, recognizing that ketamine carries risks and is not appropriate for everyone.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Meeting your inner world with curiosity and compassion

Developed by Richard Schwartz, IFS understands our inner experience through “parts,” including those that protect us and those that carry emotional pain. Within this model, even difficult patterns are approached as having a protective intention. (ifs-institute.com)

I use IFS-informed exploration to help you understand these parts without judgment. Together, we make space for their concerns and explore more compassionate ways of responding to yourself.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

Working gently with the body’s responses to stress

Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented approach developed by Peter Levine. It focuses on bodily sensations and responses associated with stress and trauma, working gradually with experiences that may feel difficult or overwhelming. (traumahealing.org)

In our sessions, I invite you to notice sensations, movement, and moments of support at a manageable pace. You can pause, shift your attention, or choose another approach at any time.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

A structured approach to processing distressing experiences

EMDR is a psychotherapy approach that addresses distress associated with traumatic memories. It combines a structured treatment process with bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, alternating taps, or sounds. (emdria.org)

Our work begins with understanding your history, developing resources, and assessing readiness. We approach memory processing collaboratively, with attention to your comfort and capacity.

Compassionate Inquiry (CI)

Exploring what lies beneath familiar patterns

Compassionate Inquiry is an approach developed by Gabor Maté and further developed by Sat Dharam Kaur. It uses compassionate attention to explore emotions, beliefs, and bodily experiences. (drgabormate.com)

In our work, we gently explore what is happening in the present and how earlier experiences may shape your responses. The intention is to deepen understanding and reconnect with your needs, without forcing an explanation or disclosure.

Psychedelic Preparation and Integration

Making space for experience, understanding, and everyday change

I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore psychedelic experiences, whether they felt meaningful, confusing, distressing, or difficult to describe.

Preparation focuses on intentions, expectations, support, and questions about risk. Integration offers space to reflect on emotions, bodily responses, relationships, and meaning, while identifying practical steps that align with your values.

These sessions do not include administering psychedelic substances. You do not need to interpret an experience as healing or spiritual for it to deserve thoughtful care.
